The Teaneck Stingrays Soccer Club (Stingrays) provides opportunities for kids to play competitive soccer year-round, through participation in regional soccer leagues and tournaments. Stingrays fields boys and girls youth (ages 8 through 19) travelling teams. Stingrays is one of over 70 clubs that compete in the Northern Counties Soccer Association league.
We compete from September to June - teams typically play 20 to 30 games in a year. In the fall, all the girls' teams play games on Sundays, and all the boys' teams play on Saturdays. Tryouts are usually held in January and June. Exact dates for tryouts will be posted on our website, however you may send us an email if you are interested in trying out for a team.
The mission of the Teaneck Stingrays Soccer Club (Stingrays) is to provide children ages 4 to19 with the opportunity to play competitive soccer while developing their technical, tactical, physical and psychological skills through professional training that abides by the Club’s age specific Player Development Philosophy. The Stingrays organization carries out this mission by forming teams that compete in the Northern Counties Soccer Association (NCSA) League. All players must successfully Try-Out for a Team and adhere to Club Policies.
An instructional non-competitive Training Program (Mightyrays) is offered to players ages 4 to 6.
