U12 & U13 Boys Indoor State Cup Champions!

Over President's Weekend the Teaneck Stingrays U12 Boys and U13 Boys Teams took the NJ Indoor State Cup Championship in Randolph NJ, having competed against some of the highest ranked Teams in New Jersey.  Congratulations to all involved!

The U12 Boys beat Jackson Red Bulls 2-1 in the final, having beat Cedar Stars Newark, Princeton, NJCSA Porto and TSF (ranked #1 in NJ) in previous games.  Impressively the one goal conceded in the final was the only goal conceded all Tournament!

A strong performance from the U13 Boys saw them beat Cedar Stars Academy 3-1 in the final, a Team that is ranked number 1 in the Nation.

Winter Futsal & Tournament Program

Following our most successful Indoor Season (2013/2014) to date, the Stingrays are pleased to announce details of our Winter 2014/2015 Indoor Season.  All training will utilize futsal techniques, movement patterns and games.

Our Futsal Program is open to Stingrays Players only; however, Players are required to register.

MAPS & EDP Teams: Advanced Program

The Teaneck Stingrays currently have four MAPS or EDP Teams (U10, U11, U12 & U13 Boys), as part of our new program.  The aim is to provide an Academy level setting, with a higher emphasis on mastery of the game, that enables our Players to not only play at the highest levels within the Tri-State region but ultimately the North East and Nationally.  All Teams are trained exclusively under the guidance of Ian Glover.

U10 Boys Take 2nd @ NJ Futsal State Cup

On Sunday February 22nd the Teaneck Stingrays U10 Boys Team took second place in the NJ Futsal State Cup at Rutgers.  Comprehensive victories over DTS Academy, Monroe Red Bull and Coastal Futsal Academy put the Team in a commanding position.  Unfortunately, a loss against Cedar Stars Academy, saw the U10 Boys finish 2nd.  Congratulations to all involved.

U11 Boys South Jersey Futsal Challenge Finalists

On Saturday February 28th the Teaneck Stingrays U11 Boys Team took second place in the South Jersey Futsal Championship in Pitman NJ.  Comprehensive victories against South Jersey Elite Barons Blue, American Futsal Academy (AFA), from Philadelphia, and SJEB saw the Team advance to the finals.  Despite previously beating AFA 5-1 in the group stages, the final proved a little too much and a narrow defeat saw the U11 Boys take second place.  Congratulations to all involved for a successful Tournament.

Director of Player Development

Employing a full time Director of Player Development & Trainer, Ian Glover, has enabled the club to stay abreast of the latest developments, techniques & tactics while providing a unique level of consistency throughout the entire club, resulting in a program that parallels those of academies in professional clubs around the world.

U12 Boys EDP Team: Columbus Cup Finalists

Congratulations to the U12 Boys EDP Team who were finalists in the Brooklyn Italian's Columbus Cup.  Having beat Albertson Academy 5-1 in their final group stage game, the U12 Boys beat Canadian side CS St Lourent 4-2 in the Semi-Final.  Facing Met Oval in the Final, the Team were 1-0 up until the dying seconds of the game in which Met Oval equalized and subsequently won the game in extra time.
